The postcards from 1910 show the atmosphere of a very rarely performed opera by Victor Ernst Nessler " The Trumpeter of Säckingen". It was only performed 11 times at the Metropolitan Opera, and this was the second performance since the US premiere.
The wife of the conductor Anton Seidl stood on the stage, Mrs. Auguste Seidl-Kraus.

Not super proud with it, but when I look back at where I was three weeks ago I feel rather happy with how I’m progressing.
I need to stop drawing statues though!
